M. (Jeannie Marshaa) Carlisle is an independent Progressive Era scholar living and working in Tucson Arizona. Dr. Carlisle holds a Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Studies, Ethical and Creative Leadership, from Union Institute & University, a Master of Arts in History from Arizona State University and is an editor for Integral Leadership Review. Her postgraduate work, The American Woman’s Crusade to Build a Better Race: The Impact of Professional Women on Eugenics Policy, 1890-1940, covered the broad landscape of Progressive Era history, giving her rare insights into the social and political facets of the period in which Roosevelt wielded power.
